Mendelssohn Violin Concerto

TwoSet Violin performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto for their four million subscriber special. While is not the most technically correct performance, it carries a lot of weight behind it. The duo were orchestral musicians, not soloists. They used the power of the Internet and memes, they created a community of younger musicians interested in classical music. They were able to pack the Sydney Symphony Orchestra's concert hall. They were loaned Stradivarius to play on.

Imagine telling TwoSet a decade ago that they would end up soloists by their own scheme. It would sound impossible. Being a soloist is a crazy high bar to set. However, through their goal of making classical music fun to the younger generations, they created a crowd that demanded to see them in person as soloists. Reminds me of a verse:

"Now to Him who is able to do far beyond all that we ask or imagine, by means of His power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20 TLV).

G-d is able to accomplish far beyond our wildest dreams. We may settle as being orchestral violinists, but G-d wants to see us as soloists.
